Last Saturday I finally got up the courage to cut my hair for summer! I donated over 10 inches to Locks of Love! I brought my camera to the salon to take pics of what I donated but was too nervous and forgot...but here's my "New DO"
Over the past week and a half, Ellie has found her voice. She has been cooing more and more each day. On Saturday, she was laying on her activity blanket that has animals that hang down from arches above her and was cooing for 30 min straight!! I was watching a friend's kids and we were eating lunch and the whole time I could hear her sweet little voice. It was so cute!
On Friday, Gavin had his friend Jackson over to play. I was seated on the floor with Ellie on my lap helping the boys pick up the play room. One of the boys said "boo" (I have no idea why) but Ellie started LAUGHING!! They said it again and she laughed and laughed! You could see in her eyes she totally loved being there with the boys! She laughs all the time in her sleep, but this was the first time she has laughed while awake!
Elena's blessing day was perfect! We felt so blessed to share the day with so many of our family and friends. Many traveled great distances and sacrificed time and money to celebrate this day with us and we are truly touched by your love and support! The blessing was so sweet and perfect for our little girl and we look forward to helping her fulfill and obtain all the wonderful blessings promised. Welcome to the world and to our family, Ellie girl! We have two miracles that remind us every day of the love of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and their names are GAVIN and ELENA!

We had our 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt with the Niederhausers, Clarks, and Youngs Friday night. Grandpa Glenn and Grandma Georgia, Mike, Launa, Tyler, my mom Veniece and dad Jerry, my brother Matt, and Bockba (Jason's grandma), Brian, Ann and Elise and Melody joined in the fun. Jason's uncle Victor and his two girls Sam and Haley drove up from Tucson to spend the evening with us as well. We ate dinner on the grass before the hunt then helped the kids find their goodies! What fun chaos!
Ellie loved all the attention and had everybody wrapped around her finger with her adorable non-stop smiles! We sure love our happy girl!
