Fashionista

I LOVE this girl SO much!
To Jason's dismay, she is definitely a momma's girl! She loves to smile and laugh at her daddy in my arms but gets quite upset if Jason is holding her and I am home. He likes to say,"she loves her daddy at a distance." Ellie is quite the stylish girl. We were given the cutest 6 month clothes and now they fit! YAY!

1st Day of Preschool

Gavin started preschool today! I can't believe he is so big!! Last Friday we went to his school for an open house to get him familiar with his classroom, teacher and the whole school experience. Daddy was so good and got Gavin ready and excited for his first day (I work Mondays and was sleeping.)

All the goodies he brought home. It was the cutest sight in the world to see all the kids march out of their preschool door to be picked up looking like this! It's going to be a GREAT year! Mommy's sure excited!

6 months!

Ellie is 6 months old today!! I can't believe how fast time has gone! It seems like just yesterday I went into labor with her. Ellie is getting so big now, rolling around, playing with toys, splashing in the tub and pool. She is the happiest, smiley-est baby EVER! She smiles all day long and brings such joy to our family. I can't believe how much I love her!! I remember feeling the same way about Gavin at this age...like my heart was going to burst I love them so much!


Ellie can not wait to eat real food. She insists on being at the table with us during dinner and then tries to eat our food. One night she managed to get Jason's bread. She used her hands to push up a piece of the bread so she could suck on it on the counter. When we realized and tried to take it away she got really mad and started crying, so we gave it back and she was as happy as a clam!

New Bike

Gavin's birth parents bought him a Cars bike for his birthday! He loves, LOVES, LOVES it! He rode it out of the store even. Everyday we go for a bike ride around the block. I can't wait until it cools off a bit and we can go for longer and not come back drenched in sweat!
