The ABC Song

About 10 days ago I watched a little girl in our ward. While she was playing with Gavin she would sing the ABC song. Gavin has always loved singing songs, but I admit I haven't sung the ABC song with him very much. Over the next week, I would hear Gavin sing what he could remember of the ABC song (which basically was the right tune with a lot of mumbling), so I tried all week to sing it with him and even let him play with his ABC magnets. During sacrament today all of the sudden he started singing the ABC song all by himself. He even sang most of the letters, which he has never even come close to before!!! It was so cute I didn't have the heart to tell him to be quiet. So after church we asked him to sing the ABC song for us. Here it is...

I love that he loves music so much. He just LOVES to sing and dance. If you remember when he was little we used to have a song for everything (getting on his pj's, changing his diaper, etc.) thanks to Jason. These last two weeks I have heard him sing parts of songs to himself while he's playing. The most common songs he sings are Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star; 5 Little Ducks; and the Monkey and Alligator Song. He has also started counting. He says 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10. By 10 he is pratically shouting, don't know why but it's cute. So we have also starting working on his numbers and remembering all the ones in bewteen 3 and 7.
