Everyday fun with TWO

Story #1: Sunday I bore my testimony at church. We didn't get to church early enough to get a pew so we were sitting on a row of chairs in the cultural hall where the speakers are located on the ceiling. As I was talking Gavin kept asking Jason if I was in the ceiling because that's where my voice was coming from. Then when I sat back down Gavin grabbed both our necks and hugged us to him saying "love you guys!" If that's not a great incentive to bear your testimony I don't know what is!


Story #2: A couple days ago, Gavin was really crazy ALL DAY! I was getting really frustrated with his craziness and lack of obeying. We had just gotten back from the store where I bought Ellie a chime toy for her car seat. I was in the extra bedroom trying to cut off the plastic cinch. I had laid Ellie on the bed and Gavin started grabbing the pillows off the bed and throwing them on the ground yelling "pillow fight!" This was the last straw-imagine my face getting red and steam coming out of my ears-and right as I'm about to yell at him (after having asked him several times not to throw the pillows off, of course) Ellie burst out laughing!! Every time he yelled "pillow fight" she would squeal and giggle! It was SO CUTE, well, I just couldn't be mad after that and instead laughed too!
