*"stuck in there" = he says this anytime we put him in closed toed shoes

*"Go now" = when he wants mommy to leave so he can be naughty

Tiny, Shiny, Don and Buddy

Gavin LOVES Dinosaur Train lately. He pretends all day that his friends Tiny, Shiny, Don and Buddy (Pteranadon kids on the Dinosaur Train) are playing with him. Here's what he's been doing lately:

1. Gavin comes to me with his hands cupped pinkies together and says he's holding his baby named Tiny or Shiny. Then he'll go put his "baby" in Ellie's swing and push her.

2. Gavin came to me hands cupped and said "this is Tiny, he's my special girl." Pronouns are still lost on him. :)

3. He often puts Tiny, Shiny or Don in the carseat, stroller, etc.

4. Today we pretended that Tiny and Shiny were having a birthday party.

Everything is about Tiny, Shiny, Don or Buddy. It is SO CUTE!!

Oh-funny story...so on Tuesday Gavin came home from preschool with a Cars band aid on his wrist (no worries it was an old scabbed over owie). After having some lunch I put him down for a nap. A few minutes later he starts screaming, not just crying, which is my cue that something is actually wrong and not that he's just upset to be taking a nap. I open his door and he's got his finger up his nose. When I get closer I realize that he's upset because he had wadded up his band aid and stuck it up his nose and couldn't get it out!! Well, I couldn't reach it with my nails so I had to go get the tweezers and go fishing for a Cars band aid booger!
