Today when Treasure came to pick up her kids before I went to work I smelled poop on the way to the door. I couldn't figure it out. She said she could smell it too. Lo and behold it was coming from...can you guess?...yep...Gavin's room!!
He smeared an adult sized amount of poop ALL OVER HIS ROOM AGAIN!
(second time in a month, not to mention the numerous times before)
It took me over 2 hours to clean and the carpets will need to be cleaned AGAIN and the walls retextured and painted before we leave b/c it's all been wiped off with the poop!
I had already been debating giving up on naps because EVERYDAY he dumps out all his clothes from his dresser (I already took away all his hang-up clothes). When he finally does fall asleep it's like 3pm and then we have to go wake him up at 5pm and he is NOT pleasant!
The rare times he actually takes a nap at a reasonable time he wakes up so rested and pleasant, which is why I keep trying...but no more!
Plus, I've already tried calling it rest time and letting him have a couple toys and books (he chews and rips up the books) and it doesn't work.
I AM DONE CLEANING POOP OFF WALLS, DOORS, DRESSERS, CLOSETS and ANYTHING ELSE (except bums of course, I do have a baby in diapers!)

That does not sound fun! I am finally potty training in a couple of weeks. I am jealous that Gavin has been giving you naps this long!Austin stopped taking naps about 6 months ago. He sleeps heavier at night without a nap. Good luck! It's a sad day when naps are over. Your kids are adorable!

Hahah, I am so sorry Jen. It is a little bit funny...when you don't have to clean it up.
Something that Elizabeth did with Audrey was put zipper pj's on her backwards. That way she couldn't get out of them. It seemed to work well.
Also, why do little people do this? It smells bad, why would they want to touch it? Silly little people, always getting into the worse of things.
and this too shall pass...right? Hang in there! Remember how cute he is the rest of the time. BTW can I get a copy of your BYU picture? Love you guys!!
