December 18th we had our annual Friend Christmas Party!

Christmas Eve we went to Aunt Jolene's house for dinner with my dad's side of the family. My grandma LuAnne and her husband J.R. were visiting from St. George.
Christmas Eve night we opened our one present, which was PJs from Grandma FernEtta and Grandpa Mike!
We had a nice, quiet Christmas at home, here in Arizona. It's the first time we've spent the entire Christmas break here by ourselves. The kids had a fun time opening and then playing with their presents. Though we did hit a snag when we realized we hadn't thought to buy all the batteries needed to put the toys together! Yikes! After church,I made a nice Christmas dinner and since the kids were napping, it was just Jason and me. That evening we were so pooped that we ended up just hanging out playing with the kids. It was a nice simple Christmas. Most of opening presents was done in video mode so there's not a lot of pics.
Thursday night, Dec. 29th, Mike and Launa arrived to spend New Year's with us! They brought a whole Christmas of their own. We loved spending time with Nana and Potter!
And that was our Christmas! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas season too. We are so thankful for the ultimate gift, our Savior Jesus Christ.
