A Week with Grandma Niece

Oct. 11th my mom arrived with Gavin who had been visiting in Houston for 10 days. She spent the week with us and we had a BLAST! Here is our week in pictures:

Tuesday morning we went to the zoo. Gavin got to feed the giraffes with mommy. He was a little scared when the giraffe's giant tongue came out to grab the food!

Being 2 yrs has its benefits...Gavin was finally able to ride the camel with Grandma Niece.

Wednesday morning we went over to my friend Julie's house and made these fun Halloween crafts with Gavin and her boys


Gavin helped me paint the Frankenstein tea light, isn't he cute!



Then we made these ghosts out of cheese cloth. Boo!



Thursday we went to the Aquarium at Arizona Mills mall, I've never been before.


Gavin was brave enough to touch the star fish, way to go buddy!

Friday for lunch we went to Chuck E Cheese. Surprisingly enough, Gavin didn't really like the small car/airplane rides. He loved skee ball and a couple of the other arcade games though. At first we weren't going to eat anything but then the pizza smelled SOOOO good that we gave in.
