Summer Update

July 4th Celebration

We had a few friends over for a barbeque and made some yummy festive treats. A great time was had by all! (we had our friends Nate and Justine over as well, but they came later and are not in the picture)


The Girls

My friend Tiffany had her baby girl Ashlyn 2 days before I had Ellie. She jinxed me into labor when I went to visit her in the hospital. She said "See you tonight. Call me when you get to the hospital!" She was joking of course, but Elena must not have known, for lo and behold, just after midnight that same night my water broke and I went into labor with her. No, I was not cruel and I did not call my friend at 3am when I arrived at the hospital.

I already posted about Gavin's fascination with with camera lately, but since that post he has gotten much better! He is our little beginner photographer!

Our Kiddos

We just can't get enough of these cute kids! In the bottom picture Gavin was feeling a little left out in the head band department so he is wearing one of Ellie's. If you look closely you can see the feathers! Silly boy!
