We were home for 2 days after spending time in Utah and then were headed to Houston. My brother Matthew got home from his mission on July 8th and we got there in time for his homecoming talk on July 21st. We missed most of my sisters who visited the week before but were there with Christine, Michaela and all the grandparents. Jason left Sunday night and the kids and I stayed until Tuesday. | Gavin had been begging to go to Grandma Niece's house for MONTHS! He wanted to see alligators in the lake they lived on. A few years ago they had a stray alligator that accidentally got in their community lake. Since there wasn't one to see in Grandma's backyard we went to Brazos Bend State Park. Gavin and Ellie got to pet baby alligators and snakes. Then we walked around the trails and saw BIG alligators in the swamps. Pretty awesome! |
