What a goofy bunch we are!
Story #1 WORK
Last Saturday we were reorganizing and cleaning the garage. Gavin was somewhat helping Jason and I was cleaning something inside the house. Here is what Jason tells me: Gavin picked up his sand pale and puts it over his shoulder and announces that he is going to work. Jason says "you're going to work today?" Gavin gets all shy, and looks around and says "yes." Then Jason says "ok, bye have a good day." Gavin replies "bye Daddy" and walks over to the car, gets into the drivers seat and begins pretend driving.
Story #2 Baby Sister
Since coming home from Utah, it has really clicked in Gavin's head that he has a "baby sister" in mommy's tummy. I try to tell him often that she is coming soon to prepare him. All the time now he spontaneously comes up to me, pats my tummy and says "baby sister." The other day he even asked baby sister to get him some more milk in his sippy. *chuckle* Today Gavin and I were looking at the Dinosaur book we got from the library and he says "look at the dinosaur baby sister!" He is so sweet! He hugs and kisses his baby sister in my tummy all the time. I can't wait for them to meet each other. He is going to be the BEST BIG BROTHER!!
