Last Saturday Gavin went to his first sporting event...Madison's soccer game! The weather here in Arizona has cooled off and it was a beautiful sunny, but cool, pleasant morning. Madison started soccer a few weeks ago and this was her second game. We hung out with Chris and Jackson as we watched her play. Her team did great and won 4-0!! But, I have to confess that I was mostly excited about how stinkin cute Gavin looked that day! Jason and I had bought him that hat before we even went up to Utah to adopt him. This was the first time he has worn it and I think he rocked it! If you can believe it, later on that afternoon Gavin met more family! (I know...it never ends!) Gavin met his great grandma LuAnne and JR for the first time. She stopped by to visit all her new great grandbabies on her way back to Utah from Mexico. All four babies were born this year. Logan and Kylee were born in April and May, respectively. Gavin, of course, in July. Unfortunately we didn't get to see little Alexander, another cousin born the end of September, because his mommy wasn't feeling good. I am so excited that we live close to family and that Gavin will have so many cousins to play with soon. They will be great playmates when the little tykes get older, although poor Kylee, being the only girl! So many people to know and love, and that love him. We had a nice dinner with John and Jolene and all their family, Jimmy and Rachel with her daughter Emma and, of course, grandma LuAnne and JR. What a BIG day for our little Gavin!

How cute that she was grabbing his hand. That's so fun. I wish we lived closer to family, but we have to drive 6 hours for fun cousin hand holding! How lucky!
