Master Detective

April 21st the kids and I were so bored at the house so we decided to go for a long walk.  It was hotter than I would've liked outside but it was one of those days where we HAD TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!  

Gavin took a little convincing so I told him we were going on a treasure hunt.  As we were walking Gavin started picking things up off the ground and pretending they were clues.  For example, he picked up a piece of plastic and said "becording to this clue monsters are going to eat us!" It was SO CUTE!! (except for the fact that he was picking up tons of trash off the ground and just HAD to bring them home cause they were important clues!)  Most of the clues had something to do with monsters and one time he even sat on a rock and said "becording to this bible..."  I was chuckling the whole time to myself.  So when we got home I made him take the below picture of all his CLUES!! (then sneakily threw them away when he was distracted)

(it was right after Easter so we found a few plastic eggs!)
