Mom Extraordinaire

On Saturday for about an hour I felt like mom extraordinaire!! I made my first batch of home made baby food for Gavin. I have wanted to do this even before we got Gavin because of the added nutritional benefits, increased variety, savings and because it just sounded fun. I used the book above, which was loaned to me by a gal from work, and it was SO easy! I even had left overs that wouldn't fit in the ice trays that I placed in the fridge. On Sunday I let Gavin taste my creation, dreading in the back of my mind that he would hate it since he usually doesn't like anything fruit or veggie the first time you give it to him, but he LOVED it!! I was so excited. For my first time I made Acorn squash and pears. Yum. I have butternut squash, sweet potatoes, apples, zucchini and yellow squash next to make. I am so pumped!! Step aside Martha and Rachel, here I come!

You forgot Stephanie in your "step aside" list.... Oh wait, I don't do that! Congrats. That's exciting. I love that you change your pictures often. I love to see the changes. Little Gavin is such a cutie in his white. I'm so happy for you.

To answer your questions, I went back to 2 because I didn't like how the colums were always outside of the cute pictures. I like to change it around all the time, so I hated to try and find one that I liked that would allow me to have the 3. I may go back to 3 after a while. Also, look at my cousins website at www.myprincesspie.com to see her photocards. She's the one that made Brennon's birthday card. I love it. Thanks for the compliments on my cute family. I sure love them. Love you
